I usually think about content or listen to songs or just walk around to cover a few steps for my step count. The other day, I was walking around 10 in the night and I could sense that someone was behind me and I started walking a bit faster just to avoid the awkwardness, I could sense that even the person behind was also walking faster. So I stopped, facing ahead, to let the person go. A faint looking old guy came and said, 'Are you also hearing that sound?' I was like which sound. He was like some ankle sound. I was listening to music so I said no but we will walk and see if we can hear something. We both started walking slowly and we both heard that sound of ankles. My home was like 10 mins away, so I suggested may be we should go back. The old man agreed and we started walking back. As we walked, we could hear the ankle sound. We didn't speak to each other and we were almost walking double the speed. The old mans street came first and he said, my house is in this street so I will go. I was like, sir can you come a couple of streets further so that you can drop me and come back. He was like, babu I am very old, you please continue. I kept my earphones again and started listening to music and reached home. Locked the door and slept off. Next day evening, I went for a walk again at the same time and this time I didn't see the old man. When I reached the part where it has become little darker, the ankle sound was audible. I returned home. A few days passed and I changed the timing of my walk, completely forgot about the old man. One day while I went to badminton, this old man too came to play. I asked him sir no walking. He said no no only playing. Then I told him sir so I wanted to tell you something. That Ankle sound was from my house key chain. I knew where it was coming from. I wanted to tell you that day only thought will tell you next day but you never came. Sorry. He laughed it off and in the badminton game he smashed me thrice on my head. We were partners in the game. The moral of the story is, you can play with an ankle, but dont play with an old uncle.
