I have always wanted to revisit certain people I have met along my unpredictable journey of stand up. These are people who are not influenced by their surroundings but found a way going against the grind. The lovely insights I had with such artists helped me reaffirm that I was on the right path. Like riding, every turn you take is based off your instinct and not necessarily through reason. Thanks to Royal Enfield, I get to combine my love for art and the art of riding with this series. "Getting There" is about sharing our mutual learnings as we trudged along a very unfamiliar path with an audience. Auditya (Audi Photography) is my third guest for the show. Our paths met at very selective points in our career. When we first met, He was this photographer that was making waves in his field while I was the upcoming comedian...fast forward a few years, He was a successful film DOP and I was shooting specials & touring the world. We both have a shared affinity to doing things on our own. We figured out hacks and more efficient ways to get the job done and don't hesitate to get our hands dirty. Shillong was the perfect place for us to explore composition, art and photography. I mean everywhere you look it's a sight worth beholding. One of the few episodes, where most of the talking happened of-screen. Whatever made it to screen was effectively precise.
